Why Should I Recycle?

Description

One day, Amy spots her teacher, Mr Jones, putting a box of bottles and newspapers outside of his house. He explains that he's leaving them to be taken away to be recycled. He tells his class at school about it and takes them to a recycling plant to show them how it works, what sort of things they can recycle and to explain why it's important.

Author description

The author, Jen Green, worked in publishing for 15 years and is now a full-time writer, who has written over 50 books for children. Her book 'Your Feelings: I'm Special' was short-listed for the NASEN Special Needs Award. The illustrator, Mike Gordon, is an ever-popular and award-winning cartoonist. He has produced over 500 cards for Hallmark and over 300 picture books for various publishers.
