Luckily, the Medikidz are on full alert! Hereditary Angioedema, or HAE for short, is a rare genetic condition that is characterised by repeated attacks of swelling in various parts of the body. Its potential to affect the airways can lead to serious consequences. Many children find a diagnosis overwhelming and it can be difficult to understand why their bodies react in this way. Join Luke as the superheroes whisk him and his brother away on an incredible journey to Mediland, a planet shaped like the human body, to explain what’s going on.
