Author(s): Grayson Perry
In June this year Grayson Perry will be exploring populism in art and politics in his new show at the Serpentine Gallery, London. The show - The Most Popular Art Exhibition Ever! - features thirty new art works from Grayson, including his much-discussed Brexit and Remain pots, and will be accompanied by a Channel 4 documentary, Grayson Perry- What Britain Wants. The book will showcase all the works from the show, Grayson's thinking and workings behind them. It will be a lavishly produced book to sit alongside Sketchbooks.
Grayson Perry's first art prize was a large papier-mOchU head he awarded to himself as part of a performance art project at college in 1980. Since then he has won many other awards, including the Turner Prize in 2003. He is now one of Britain's most celebrated artists and has had major solo exhibitions all over the world.
