Author description

Inspired by his passion for sport and desire to get reluctant readers engaged in books, primary and middle school teacher Michael Panckridge put his mind to finding out what kids want to read. Some years later he finds himself the author of over 35 books - his work ranging from the bestselling Legends and Anniversary Legends series, the Toby Jones series with cricket star Brett Lee, The League of Legends series with rugby league great Laurie Daley, through to his latest novels including The Cursed, The Vanishings and The Immortal. These latter novels are intriguing and sinister adventure books with elements of mystery and suspense that keep the reader guessing - not to be read at night! Michael has drawn on his experience in the school environment for his latest book called Be Bully Free. Co-authored with Cathie Thornton, it is a practical hands-on guide for individuals, families and schools.
