Ruby Brown is an experienced children's author, living in Sydney Australia with her two young children. To date, she has written 8 children's fiction titles for Hardie Grant Egmont's Chirpy Bird imprint, covering topics from birthdays and cuddles, to super heroes and astronauts. Ruby is busy working on a follow-up title to Cuddles for Mummy. Having grown up in Australia, Vamos studied at the college of Fine Arts, receiving a Distinction and Animation Honor in a Bachelor of Digital media. Since learning how to hold a pencil (albeit incorrectly) the only time she puts it down is when she has to eat and even then her food can be the victim of artistic subjection (camp mates will forever remember the time she attempted to carve the statue of David out of her mashed potatoes). Since graduating COFA Vamos has spent her time traveling, doodling, meeting friends with the same enthusiasm for creative expression and communication as well as getting to know and experience as many facets of the creative industry she can.
